While there isn’t any Starfleet Uniform in his size, he’s had to order a custom uniform from a tailor shop on Luna, when he isn’t wearing the Uniform, he can be found wearing a dark purple shirt along with black cargo trousers. |

| Personal History | Andrew was born on Miri (named after First Contact with the First Only) later called, New Earth. Andrew was born in Lanark, Scotland in 1951 and would be enrolled in the planetary eugenics program at the age of 9. As the hundreds of years went on, Andrew and like many other Onlys would forgot their lives before a global pandemic destroyed most lives. Andrew was a fixer, he’d fix things people would break and had little pet projects of his own. When the UFP took over the world and placed all the younglings into Education, Andrew went through a culture shock, he couldn’t believe there was another source of life beyond the clouds in his sky. He quickly became inspired, wanting to see the galaxy for himself. He drove headfirst into the universe, joined a large private ship, and worked as an apprentice to the ship's chief engineer, he struggled with people laughing and asking if he was involved in a transporter accident but quickly made a name for himself, “Shooting Star” because he was running head first into problems. He felt as though he had outgrown the job after 12 years and looked for work elsewhere, and he did, Let’s Poll the Audience. She was looking for an engineer and he was that, an engineer. By now he’d overcome the social anxiety that he brought with him. He wasn’t the chief, just someone who knew how to fix things and kept to his own business. 34 years he served on LPA (Let’s Poll the Audience), and he went from junior to senior engineer, the ship was medium-sized, but quick in a pinch. Not to say it was heavily outdated and needed fixing every minute but the ship got too old and was sold to scrappers. He joined up with some of the old crew who bought an old fixer-upper ship as the head fixer, the chief engineer. The ship was quite modern but heavily damaged for reasons not disclosed, he had his work cut out at the beginning of the show. He still couldn’t understand the name… Kermit the Frog, he didn’t bring it up, he had no stock in ownership. He quit his job falling out with those who had stocks, they bought a new engine system that wasn’t compatible, and after explaining why they should have consulted their chief engineer first. It was a long time coming, after ‘38, everyone fought with management for going over their heads. He had a hard time looking for work in the heat of the UFP-Cardissan Cold War but found a thing, a ship called Grandma’s Cookies. Commanded by an old woman who thought she was hip and down with the times but really made everyone cringe, officially it was a cargo always accused of smuggling. He never knew of smuggling aboard the ship but Captain Old Woman always had aces up her sleeves. He missed his spot to jump ship many times, but with the long stretches of war in the 2340s he just stayed. Seeing the Dominion War bring death brought a tear to his eye and he wanted to help but didn’t want to be cannon fodder in an endless war. The endless war came to an end and he joined Starfleet in 2379, he helped rebuild those in poverty. He knew how to deal with egos, he’d worked with plenty. Deployed on Starbase 17, he led a mixed small team of Scientists, they worked on repairing docked private ships who paid the repair fee and befriended those in his team, hanging out with them after work but he wasn’t long, his review was up and he was promoted and re-assigned mainly because of his engineering experience but most of the veterans had left Starfleet. He was posted to a Nebula starship, Arizona as her Chief Science Officer, since the war she had been in drydock, and more ships were needed to combat piracy. Some egos couldn’t accept taking orders from a child and he was quick to punish them for disobeying his swift action was commended by the Captain and he’d put Andrew’s name down for the Bridge Officer’s test… He failed after 3 attempts but received a promotion for it. The Arizona hadn’t long left, the engines cut out randomly and went into automatic shut down, the ship was declared a health hazard and laid to rest at Utopia. Andrew would continue to serve the Ariazona’s Captain though, he’d got a new ship named after a Vulcan. It was a Akira Refit and he was proud to serve his CO. But they quickly fell out with each other, their friendship grew distant, instead of repairing it, Andrew left. The Magpie was an Oberth Class whose refit was pushed back. Andrew had a pretty sizeable team, with modern equipment that ate a lot of power and re-discovered already discoveries. It got boring really quick, Andrew looked for work elsewhere... |
