| Physical Description | At four feet seven inches tall, this unremarkable looking woman can slip in and out of crowds with ease. Her raven black hair is cut short at the front and close to the side of her head, while it flows freely down to her shoulders from behind. Her face is rounded and lightly dotted with freckles. Sitting below a small, rounded nose are a pair of thin pressed lips, usually wearing a neutral expression. Under her bottom lip is a small vertical scar. It's clear from Katrina's physique that she spends quite a lot of time on her feet. Her legs and arms are carefully sculpted, presenting a well toned but still feminine appearance. Her bust is average for such a small woman, leading down to her stomach and wide hips. Her long, smooth runner's legs lead to well arched feet. |

| Personal History | In her childhood, Katrina was something of a silent agent of chaos. She was born with an undetectable brain defect which meant she couldn't speak. After some time, an implant was created which read her thoughts and vocalized them. To deal with the implications of this device, Katrina was taken to Vulcan, where she learned how to shield her thoughts with a mental firewall which prevented them from being spoken when she didn't wish them to be. But when Katrina wasn't engaged in mental discipline exercises, she was often getting into trouble. Usually, this meant getting into things she wasn't supposed to around the house or taking appliances apart and rebuilding them. She spent many an hour in a small holosuite, taking apart things that she couldn't get her hands on in the real world. At the age of eight, Katrina developed a fascination with birds and how these creatures of nature could so easily defy gravity. Believing she could do the same, she took up holographic cliff jumping, something she engaged in regularly until her teen years, when she started to partake in the real world. This rush skyrocketed her interest in flight, and suddenly cliffs didn't seem big enough to her anymore. After finishing high school, Katrina applied for Starfleet Academy on the pilot/engineer track. |
